• Creating a world of things never seen before, the American born artist, Thomas Mooring focuses on the abstract to accomplish his goal.
  
  ” If you want to see a person, place or thing that already exists in this world, take a picture of it. But if you want to see an idea or something that does not exist in this world then CREATE IT! I think that is the function of an Artist.”
  
  Thomas Mooring is currently based near Chicago, Illinois after previous lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and around the St. Louis, Missouri area. His work is hanging in both public and permanent private collections all across the continental United States and Hawaii.
  
  Having a visual impairment called Stargardt Disease and being legally blind since the age of 23, Thomas Mooring donates to causes that he believes in, so a portion of all the sales of his artwork go to the National Federation of the Blind, NFB.org and the American Macular Degeneration Foundation, AMDF.
